I was so saddened today to learn that John Forsythe had died yesterday (at 92!). Dynasty was one of may favorite shows that I watched in my formative pre-teen years. The fashion! the drama! the backstabbing! The mud fights (and pool fights and cat fights) it was easy to escape as I grew up in a cold and unloving household to see these characters who seemingly had everything but really lacked the very same thing I craved. Its depressing when a TV hero dies... its like a little piece of your youth dies with them.
